Do you need a Visa?

Yes, any foreigner who has been accepted by an education institution to pursue full-time study in Singapore will need to apply for a Student’s Pass.

According to Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), you would not require a Student’s pass under the following

  • Complete any course/study during the validity of this pass  or within 30 days, whichever is shorter
  • Be a complete and stand-alone module; courses with multiple programme modules are excluded from the Student’s Pass scheme
  • Does not include any hands-on practical occupational training
If you intend to apply a Student’s Pass for university studies in Singapore, you will need to apply online at least 2 months and not more than 3 months before your study begins.
